Loved the content and presentation. As always with IMDT, full of facts presented in an accessible way and by someone who knows their stuff and isn't talking from notes. It was great to brush up on long-ago information, make sure I was up to date with modern thinking and I loved the new research into puppy needs that was discussed. Always a nugget or two of information to take away despite 40 years of training dogs, with 20 of those years as a canine professional.

I attended my first IMDT course on saturday at St. Albans on 7th August (face to face) and I was thoroughly impressed. The speaker was enthusiastic, dynamic and very entertaining making a long day session pass quickly. He had fantastic values, always keeping the dog at the centre of the picture - this was embraced when discussing specific situations and he kindly challenged some views respectfully, using data and scientific research to support his reasoning. He used anecdotal evidence throughout, and generously discussed personal questions during his breaks. I thought he was a brilliant speaker, obviously very knowledgable, and very approachable. He allowed questions to be asked throughout the session so i could always clarify my understanding. 100% would love to work further with the IMDT due to this and have already booked onto my second course! Thank you so much

I thought the day was many times more value for money than the actual cost. The learnings of the last couple of decades are so fascinating and IMDT are passionate in conveying this information to us . I'm going to enrol on the Body Language day and look forward to pursuing more courses with IMDT. Thank you everyone in the IMDT team for all your hard work and dedication to dogs and the people blessed to know them.

Essential course for anyone working with dogs, lots of useful information to identify the full spectrum of possible causes, assist with prevention, or manage / control the various issues that go beyond that point. Really useful videos to guide post consultation plans of action and invaluable tips to apply to associated training strategies. Great presentation as always and so much attention to answering all questions and queries.

A brilliant course for anyone working with dogs, and dog owners with concerns about their dog's aggression! No jargon, easy to understand explainations, and `how to's' for the rehabiliation dogs. I particularly enjoyed the session on `Handler Styles,'. Steve Mann delivered the course with humour, which held my attention from beginning to end. Looking forward to attending more courses. The IMDT makes sense!

Another well organised, informative and enjoyable course delivered by Steve Mann. Steve's relaxed and humorous approach really keeps the delegates motivated all day. I came away with plenty of new ideas to help me work with my clients who are struggling with their dogs who are suffering from aggression issues or even just over excited issues when greeting other dogs. Highly recommend this course.

Relevant and very informative. Especially like the promotion of watch the behaviour rather than label it. Very relevant and easy listening and learning on what is a very emotive subject. Explanations and live demonstrations proved invaluable in being able to view as well as talk.QA throughout is a great way to learn of each other as well as the instructor. Especially loved Nancy running around. Will continue to recommend IMDT courses to friends and colleagues.

The outdoor demonstration near end of course with the Bull Terrier was also excellent. Look forward to more courses with the IMDT.

The venue is amazing and lunch was good! The course content was informative and aimed at people of all levels. There was a good amount of practical and theory and the breaks in the day were well timed. I liked the relaxed atmosphere in the room, this showed by the amount of people willing to speak up and ask questions (sometimes lacking in big group situations). I thought Steve answered the questions openly and honestly. It is difficult when someone wants a 1-2-1 session in a seminar and I thought one participant did take up too much time. I would highly recommend the course to others for either their own benefit or in a professional capacity.

This course was great for me in particular as I have worked with a lot of dogs with behavioural problems at the rescue centre. My own dog has minor behaviour problems when meeting new people, so I loved learning about all of the signs and signals to watch out for to prevent an accident. I now feel a lot more confident working with aggression cases because I have the knowledge to pass on to my clients.

Though only a 1 day course plenty of important areas covered. The class size at first seamed large; but Steve took the course in an open, friendly and informative way to such a degree that in no way did the size deter from the event. So much was learned to suggest to me the option of perhaps a more in depth course would be well received especially in light of the legal challenges dog owners face now and no doubt in the future.
